Channel Targeting allows you to send a custom script via text and a custom script via email, to better communicate with your leads depending on their preferred method of communication.

Note Channel Targeting is only applicable to you if you have AI Email allowed on your account. If you don't (or you're not sure if you do) please reach out to us using the chat in the bottom right corner of your screen, or email help@structurely.com.

πŸ‘‰ First, go to your Scripts tabπŸ‘‡

πŸ‘‰ Next, create a custom script by either starting from scratch or duplicating one of our default scripts using the 3 dots on the rightπŸ‘‡

For more information on customizing a script, click HERE!

πŸ‘‰ The Targeted Channels checked in the top left corner of your custom script are the channels that we will send our introduction message through

πŸ‘‰ For example, with both boxes checked we will send an introductory message through both text (SMS) and email πŸ‘‡

πŸ‘‰ You can then customize the variations to match the Targeted Channel

πŸ‘‰ For example - the email variations in our default scripts are formatted like an email, mention emailing, and can include a signature (if you would like) πŸ‘‡

πŸ‘‰ Our default scripts also include variations formatted like a text, to be sent over the SMS targeted channel πŸ‘‡

πŸ‘‰ Within each Qualifier, you can also customize Questions, Bot Responses, and Skip Criteria based on Targeted Channel

πŸ‘‰ In the context of Questions - the Targeted Channel means that if the lead is responding via text, then we will send the text variation of the Question πŸ‘‡

πŸ‘‰ If the Targeted Channel is None, then we will send the same variation over both channels

πŸ‘‰ In the context of Bot Responses - the Targeted Channel means that if a lead is responding via email, then we will respond with the email variation of the bot response πŸ‘‡

Remember, as always, you will need to have a "Default" variation of a Bot Response

πŸ‘‰ In the context of Skip Criteria - the Targeted Channel means that if a lead is responding over the noted channel, then we'll skip that question.

πŸ’‘For example, you may wish to ask multiple questions in one single email whereas, if we're having a conversation via text, it is easier to ask a multiple questions over multiple texts. πŸ’‘

πŸ‘‰ In this screenshot, we don't want to ask just the Location question in an email so if the lead is responding over email - we'll skip the question. πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ‰ You are now ready to start communicating with your leads using Targeted Channels! πŸŽ‰
